PRIMUS' maintenance window schedule is as follows:

Window Type Day Time
Regular maintenance Tues/Thur 0400 - 0600
Extended maintenance Sun 0400 - 0800
Emergency Any 0400 - 0600

The 'Window Types' are defined as follows:

  • Regular maintenance: These windows are reserved for routine maintenance of PRIMUS software, servers and network equipment. Any piece of software or equipment may be temporarily unavailable during this window. Announcements of expected down-time will be made 24 hours in advance.
  • Extended maintenance: This window is defined as the Regular maintenance window. However it will generally be reserved for operations that will take for a longer period of time (e.g. > 2 hours).
  • Emergency: These windows are reserved to allow PRIMUS to do emergency work that is critical to the well-being of one ore more of PRIMUS's services. They will only be used when absolutely necessary and advanced warning will be given whenever possible.
